A scholarly exploration of the Indonesian comic industry through a giga map—a visual tableau designed to depict the chaos and conundrum that define this complex landscape. The giga map presents a series of interconnected tables, each offering a glimpse into the messiness and complexities inherent in the industry. As you traverse the labyrinthine pathways of the giga map, you will encounter a rich tapestry of intersecting themes, socio-cultural dynamics, and economic forces shaping the Indonesian comic scene. Each table serves as a node within a larger network, offering insights into the production, distribution, consumption, and reception of comics in Indonesia.

Amidst shared meals and meaningful conversations, the table becomes more than just a surface; it becomes a friendly space for dialogue and understanding. This giga map is a personal visual note to Gideon Hutapea, a comic artist who's trying to unravel a new understanding of the Indonesian comic industry with his Ph.D. study.
